Audrey Veloce is based in Northern Virginia, where she was born and raised. Her most recent work consists of a series of genre-bending paintings that focus on figures isolated from her own portfolio of street and candid subject photography. In all her work, Audrey gravitates towards capturing the likeness of a figure or concept in a way that represents how they are stored in her memory, straying from accuracy and opting for loose translation. She is honored to have been voted Ashburn Magazine’s Best Artist in Ashburn in 2020 and 2021 for her prior work in realistic portraiture, and received the honor of being the Phi Kappa Phi medallion winner in 2024 for the college of Arts, Architecture & Design from Virginia Tech.
